Archiving Policy

Archiving Policy

PAPPADALLEQ: Journal of Islamic Economics and Welfare is dedicated to the long-term preservation of its digital content. We ensure that all published articles remain accessible to the academic community and the public indefinitely.

1. Digital Preservation

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lot of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries.

These systems permit those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration, ensuring that the digital content is safe from potential server failure or data loss.

2. Author Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their published articles (the final PDF publisher's version) to their personal or institutional repositories, as well as academic networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu).

  • Authors may archive the pre-print, post-print, and publisher's version/PDF.
  • When uploading the article, authors must explicitly state that the article was published in PAPPADALLEQ and provide a link to the article's DOI (Digital Object Identifier) on the journal's website.
